Alzheimer is part of a research on the disease from which the artist’s grandmother suffered during the last ten years.

The color photographs document the physical traces of Alzheimer desease which caused her to fall out of bed. The person, increasingly disoriented, becomes a danger to herself. During the recovery period following the fall, the woman does not remember being injured. She wants to behave normally, for example getting up from the bed, but each movement of her tormented body causes her pain and brutally leads her to discover her own limits.
