Sasso Piatto is in Giubiasco, a district at the foot of Valle Morobbia in Ticino. It stands on a mountain at 400 metres above sea level, a geographically special place where the artist lived for over twenty years.
A narration accompanying a slide show of photographs is shown on a screen in a domestic space. A book is available to the viewer. It contains four testimonies of neighbours of different generations who recount their memories and the history of the neighbourhood. On the soundtrack, the artist takes speak up and tells the stories of three families from Sasso Piatto.
