Tradizione shows a bed prepared in an old-fashioned way with wool sheets where you’ll also find a bottle of hot water, as well as a blanket fixed under the mattress.

The installation comes from the story of two immigrants who settled in Switzerland in 1960s and 1970s. Although coming from different countries: France and Germany, both strongly link the ritual of preparing the bed with their childhood memories.

The exhibition of this everyday object works as a device that recalls the memory. Visitors are invited to discover its elements, to project images of their past, to virtually lie on it and physically blend with it.
