This installation consists of a series of eighteen images combining text and photos.
Five immigrant women in Switzerland recount memories of their homeland and the ups and downs of their journey to Sion in the Valais.
Each of these women shows an object that she kept until its final destination. Political activists, women escaping famine or simply following a loved one, they all have the same goal and the same dreams: to be able to rebuild their lives.
