Facciamo un gioco is a short film about the daily lives of two children who take over a playground around their home to make up games. The action takes place in a mountainous landscape in the Canton of Ticino, and more specifically in the Blenio Valley.
This region was densely populated at the beginning of the 20th century, but the new generation has left for more urbanised areas. Houses have been sold or abandoned. And yet, these children remain very attached to their land and cannot imagine ever having to leave it as adults – quite the contrary.
